Aim and scope of this journal:
Published by the Initiative for Inspiring Young Minds Through Science, this journal provides an open-access platform for disseminating research conducted by elementary, middle, and high school students, together with contributions from educators and professionals engaged in science education. Submissions are accepted in English or Japanese, and no publication fees are required.
Features of this journal:
This journal is unique in its mission to disseminate the outcomes of children’s science research and related support activities from Japan to a global community. Key features include: (1) bilingual English–Japanese publication to reach both international and domestic audiences; (2) no publication fees for authors; (3) full open access; and (4) collaboration with the sister YouTube channel, Science Stars Japan (SciStars-J), for broader online dissemination. We will actively communicate the journal’s objectives to relevant stakeholders in order to expand the contributor base and broaden its audience, thereby increasing the number of issues published annually.
